Dr. Rajeev Chaudhary chose surgery for a simple reason: to make good surgical care less frightening and easier to reach for patients in Nepal.
After his MBBS and MS, he completed a Fellowship in Laparoscopic Surgery (FMAS), advanced training in laparoscopic hernia surgery (FALS-Hernia) and training in laser therapy for piles, fissure, fistula and pilonidal sinus. With more than 15 years of experience and over 10,000 surgical procedures, he is Consultant General Surgeon at Seti Provincial Hospital and teaches as a lecturer at Lumbini Medical College and Devdaha Medical College. He sees every patient personally, explains each option in plain language and recommends surgery only when it is truly the best choice.
